What You Will Learn
Researching Jewish genealogy presents unusual challenges, not the least of which is that in a meaningful number of cases, Jews acted to hide their identities as Jews. Fortunately, there are a number of easily accessible sources which focus on these issues globally as well as locally in Kentucky. The presentation will discuss different waves of Jewish immigration to the United States, how each of these presents special problems, and the sources to which the researcher should go for information.
