Books, and Newspapers and Movies, Oh My! : Getting the Most from Your Library Card

In this presentation you will hear about the importance of acquiring a library card and learn about the various materials you can access with the card.

What You Will Learn

September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month, but it’s also a good time to look at the wealth of treasures researchers can use with their library cards. Books of all kinds, newspapers, magazines, photographs, and videos are just a few things that can be accessed with a library card.

Speaker

Elaine Kuhn is the Local History and Genealogy Services Coordinator for the Kenton County Public Library in Kentucky. She serves on the boards of the Kenton County Historical Society and the Historical Linden Grove Cemetery in Covington.
